Lean Release Management Workshop

How to integrate release management into large scale agile development processes

Description

The aim of this workshop is to develop solutions for optimization in your own organization based on proven principles and procedures for dealing with releases in a lean-agile environment.

The workshop will examine the various aspects of releases and release management in general and for scaled, lean-agile working methods in particular. It will explain what the underlying intentions and desired results of each facet are, what needs to be taken into account and why. The organizations' understanding of release management and its implementation will be reflected in the workshop and possible starting points for addressing current challenges will be identified.

For the identified fields of action, possible tools and methods will then be shown that can be used to implement improvements.

Initial concrete measures will be defined that can feed directly into a change or transformation backlog .

When and where to use

This workshop is ideal for existing implementation units (particularly in a SAFe environment) that are looking for improvement approaches for identified challenges in connection with the delivery and commissioning of software solutions.
The workshop is also well suited for new implementation units that want to regulate their handling of releases from the outset, or units that will work together in new constellations, e.g. in large solutions or portfolios, and want to coordinate the handling of overarching releases.
