AI Use and Synthetic Media Transparency Notice
1. Purpose of this notice
This notice explains how we use artificial intelligence (“AI”) in connection with the content on this website, including images, audio, video and text, and how we comply with applicable transparency obligations, such as those in the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).
2. Use of AI on this website
We may use AI tools to: generate or edit images, audio and video; support drafting, translation or summarisation of written content; and improve accessibility (for example, through captions, transcripts or alternative formats).
All content is subject to human review before publication, and final editorial responsibility lies with our team.
3. AI‑generated and AI‑edited media (images, audio, video)
Some images, audio recordings, videos and other media on this website are partly or fully generated or edited using AI systems.
Unless specifically indicated, such media are used for illustrative or informational purposes and may not depict real people, places or events. These are not individually labeled as "AI-generated".
4. Deepfakes and realistic synthetic content
We do not knowingly use AI to generate or manipulate content that realistically depicts or imitates real persons, places, events or recordings (“deepfakes”). In cases of doubt, we will clearly disclose that the content has been artificially generated or manipulated at or before the moment you first see or hear it.
5. How we provide AI disclosures
We may inform you about AI‑generated or AI‑edited content by using labels, icons, captions or short notices (for example, “AI‑generated image”, “AI‑generated/edited audio” or “AI‑assisted text”), and/or by providing a clear notice at page, section or site level where appropriate. AI generated artefacts used for purely illustartive or informational purposes are not individually labeled.
For interactive AI features (such as chatbots or virtual assistants), we will inform you that you are interacting with an AI system, unless this is obvious to a reasonably well‑informed, observant and circumspect user.
6. Data protection, copyright and safeguards
When using AI tools, we aim to respect applicable data protection and intellectual property laws, including by choosing tools and workflows designed to minimise rights infringements.
We take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of inaccurate, misleading or harmful AI‑generated content and may correct, label or remove content where we identify significant issues.
7. Contact and feedback
If you have questions or concerns about our use of AI or about specific pieces of content, please contact us at:info@rimagin.de
We will review substantiated concerns in good faith and may update this notice from time to time to reflect legal, technical or organisational developments.
