Through our deep understanding of adaptive frameworks and our experience with organizations struggling to maintain relevance in a fast-changing landscape, we have learned that the key lies in building the internal capabilities necessary for ongoing adaptability.
Whether moving from a monolithic to a cloud-based architecture, dealing with highly dynamic customer requirements or handling a distributed organization, adaptability is not about following a formula but about evolving continuously and smoothly to use the most modern technologies to best serve customers. Companies that fail to cultivate the skills to adapt, experience wasted efforts, missed opportunities and frustration as they struggle to move towards a target that is moving faster than themselves.
Rather than a one-time reorganization, we see modern organizational transformation as an adaptive process that equips people with the tools to foster long-term flexibility and resilience.

Our Philosophy
We believe that every organization’s path to adaptability is unique, and while standard frameworks such as SAFe® can provide structure, they must be adapted to meet specific organizational contexts and challenges. True adaptability is not about using a specific framework but about embedding the right skills and mindsets to evolve an organization’s DNA.
By freely sharing our pragmatic insights, experiences, and ideas around adaptive organizational design for volatile business environments, we contribute to the evolving knowledge base on organizational flexibility and resilience. This open approach fosters continuous learning—both for our clients and ourselves—as, together, we navigate the complexities of building strong organizations which are fit for the future.
We’ve learned that large-scale organizational change is primarily a sociotechnical challenge, which many companies struggle to address. Most frameworks and approaches oversimplify the transformation process, glossing over the intricate human and technical interplay required for success - applying mechanisitic approaches to sociotechnical problems. This leads to missed opportunities and wasted resources, keeping companies from reaching their full potential.
Our goal is to provide the skills and abilities that allow organizations to continually adapt, thrive, and generate sustainable value for themselves and their customers.

Our Services
We provide workshops and training to give you the skills to help your organization become more adaptable and resilient. Whether you want to make a small change to increase organizational adaptability or transform your entire company, our focus is on putting you in charge of your change and equipping you with the skills you need. We are certified agile experts with particular experience in SAFe.
All our products are designed to provide both direct and concrete benefit as well as support larger transformation initiatives. This way, we ensure that – even in the early stages of a transition to a more flexible and modern way of working – false steps are minimized.

We have a policy of sharing our work as freely as possible. Almost nothing on our website is restricted.

Because we believe that the best way to achieve our mission is not through selling our ideas but through sharing them and learning from others.

Our Story
Founded in February 2024 by Manfred Becking and Richard Butler, Rimagin seeks to fill the gap between the promises of scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LESS, S@S etc and the reality faced by organizations as they try to succeed in their agile transformations.
We were key players in the Deutsche Telekom enterprise transformation (which ran at full steam from about 2018 to 2023) and in which over eight thousand people moved from working in a centralized quarterly-release-based development model with large monolithic systems to a modern cloud-based, distributed environment.
With hands-on experience of the good (and also not-so-good) parts of large scale transformations and scaled agility (covering areas such as value streams, moving to micro-service and cloud-based solutions, agile organizational structures, intregrating devOps, training academies and systemic approaches) we realized that a focus on frameworks such as SAFe is not enough to help organizations survive in a VUCA environment and we developed our mission to teach the skills to help organizations become adaptable so they may not only survive, but thrive in the digital world.
