Purpose and Background

Many organizations overlook the power of their organic, human-driven dynamics, relying heavily on rigid, mechanistic structures. In this training, you’ll discover how to tap into the underutilized potential that comes from appreciating the organic side of your organization—where complex, often unpredictable interactions can become a source of innovation and adaptability.


The training shows you how to bridge the gap between traditional processes and the organic, people-centered aspects that fuel resilience and growth. Through four interactive modules, (in-house: tailored to your specific organizational needs), you will learn how recognizing and leveraging these underutilized dynamics can transform your leadership approach and lead to more effective and adaptive organizational behaviour. Ultimately, you’ll walk away with actionable strategies to drive sustainable improvement and make your organization more resilient today’s unpredictable business landscape.

Training Details and Agenda

This training consists of a 2 hours introductory session (for in-house training only, this is free of charge - with no further obligation) and four half-day sessions. The traning can be run in German or English and is limited to a miximium of 16 participants. Training is recmmended as a face to face training but can also be run remotely.

Day 1.1 Organic aspects and my organization

• What are organic aspects and dynamic aspects?

• Deeper insights into adaptive (organic) organizational structures using specific examples – such as Lego or Haier

• What characterizes your organization? (Systemic cycle: observation and hypothesis)


Day 1.2 Systems and complexity

• Subsystems and suboptimizations

• Introduction to organizational systems and chaos theory


Day 2.1 Leadership and change

• My role as a leader in dealing with organic aspects of an organization

• Using organizational strengths to promote change

• Designing concrete interventions for my organization.


Day 2.2 Bringing about change

• Theory of organizational change and change management in your organization

• Practical first steps and building a backlog for change
